PHS Back to School Updates

The first day of school is almost here, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome our Panthers back! As we prepare to open the doors to our new high school, I wanted to share a few important reminders and updates to help make the start of the school year as smooth as possible.
School Calendar & Bell Schedule
Attached you will find the 2026-2027 Paradise ISD School Calendar and the Paradise High School Bell Schedule. Please review these resources so students and families are aware of important dates, holidays, and daily class schedules.
We encourage students to arrive early, especially during the first week of school, as everyone adjusts to new routines and our new campus.
Updated Traffic Flow
To ensure the safety of our students and staff, please review the attached updated traffic map before the first day of school.
A few important things:
-
Panther Pride Way and Legacy Drive are two-way traffic.
-
Vehicles may enter campus from Olde Towne Road or School House Road.
-
There is no parent or student traffic permitted behind the school.
-
All parent drop-off and pick-up will take place in the front school loop.
Your patience during the first few days is greatly appreciated as students, parents, and staff adjust to the new traffic pattern.
Meet the Teacher – Monday, August 10
Meet the Teacher is just around the corner!
-
Freshmen will participate in Fish Camp from 12:30–2:00 p.m.
-
Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors will attend during their assigned come-and-go time slots.
If your student has a summer workout, practice, or other school activity during their assigned time, they are welcome to attend during any of the other grade-level time slots. We want every student to have the opportunity to pick up their schedule, receive their Chromebook, meet their teachers, and tour the new building.
New EMT Course Opportunity
We are excited to offer a new Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course for juniors and seniors this school year! This course is a great opportunity for students interested in healthcare, emergency services, or future careers in the medical field.
Space is limited, so students who are interested should contact:
-
Mrs. Little: rlittle@pisd.net
-
Mrs. Barnes: nicole.barnes@pisd.net
We encourage interested students to reach out as soon as possible to reserve their spot.
We are incredibly excited to begin this school year with our students in a beautiful new facility. Thank you for your partnership, patience, and support as we kick off what is sure to be an amazing year.
We look forward to seeing everyone at Meet the Teacher and welcoming our Panthers back on Wednesday, August 12!
Go Panthers!
