On a personal note…

My name is Stephanie Kott and I’m a 25 year cancer survivor (Leukemia). I’m on the committee of the Wise County Relay for Life and am serving as Event Chair for the 2012 Relay. I’m also a 2011 Hero of Hope for the American Cancer Society. I graduated from Decatur High School in 1998 and UNT in 2001. This is my eleventh year to teach, but my tenth year at Paradise High School. I teach Spanish I, II, & III and sponsor the Spanish Club, Beta Club, and PHS Relay for Life Team.

I’ve been married for 12 years to Travis Kott, who graduated from Paradise in 1993 and UNT in 2001. We have a 10 year old daughter, Savannah, who is in 5^th grade. We also have a 5 year old son, Carter, who is in Kindergarten. We have 3 dogs, a Boxer (Nipsy) and 2 Chihuahuas (Cholo & Rico), and 1 cat (Chewy). We live in Paradise and are very active members of Grace Fellowship Church. We love volunteering, traveling, watching movies, and just spending time together!!
