Coach Green’s Page

I am a small town kid that enjoys working in small town atmosphere.  I grew up in Tolar, TX graduating in 2000.  I played football, basketball, tennis, run track, and cross country.  I went on to Tarleton State University graduating with a Kinesiology degree in 2003.  I got my 1st teaching job at Onalaska, TX teaching elementary PE.  I taught there for 3 years before moving on to Centerville where I taught junior high and high school PE and coached junior high volleyball, high school basketball, and track.  While I was there I got the opportunity to be an assistant coach in the State Volleyball Tournament,  but we lost the semifinal game to the defending state Champs in Poth.  I was there for 1 year before we moved to the Metroplex, which brought me to Paradise.  Paradise is a GREAT place to be and a GREAT place to work.  I have had to the privilege to teach/coach here for 2 years.  I teach 1 class of junior high health, 1 class of high school speech, as well as ISS.  I coach junior high volleyball, high school volleyball, high school basketball, and high school track. My wife and I have been married for 6 years and we have a daughter (Peyton).  My wife (Kayla) will be starting a new job, in August, at TCU as a chemistry Professor.  She was my high school “sweetheart”.  She graduated from Tolar in 1999, graduated from Tarleton in 2003 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, and received her Doctorate Degree in Chemistry from Texas A&M in 2007.
