Welcome to Fifth Grade Science |

We will spend the first couple of weeks becoming familiar with the science lab, the equipment, and with metric measurement. Then we will dive into physical science and learn about matter and energy. After that we will begin learning about the Earth. Our focus will be on the forces that cause changes on the Earth. In the spring we will learn about the sun, moon and stars. We will follow that with a study of plants and animals and how they interact. The students will take the science TAKS test in late April. After the test we will study force and motion. |
