Also from the Exotic Animal University is our Eastern Box Turtle. Wave is about 4 inches in diameter and still primary carnivorous. He eats earthworms, mealworms, broccoli, cucumbers, and his favorite, cherry tomatoes. Wave uses his clay water bowl for soaking and catching worms. |

From the Exotic Animal University is our African Pygmy Hedgehog. Princess Peach will be a year old in August 2010. She weighs about one pound and loves to exercise in her ball. Princess eats two tablespoons of dry cat food and six to eight mealworms every day. She is very pokey but she loves for you to pat her on her back. She feels like a hair brush! Princess is nocturnal, which means she sleeps during the day. She does take a lot of naps during the day but, loves to come out and play anytime! |
