Internet Safety Assembly on March 17

Paradise Junior High will be having an assembly on internet safety and sexting for all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders on Tuesday, March 17th. This program will be presented by the Wise County Juvenile Probation office. If you would like for your child to opt out of participating in the assembly, please contact the Junior high office at 940 969-5034 prior to the presentation. More information is here.

Assembly schedule:

  • 6th grade: 2nd period
  • 7th grade: 3rd period
  • 8th grade: 4th period
  • PJH Wins District Title

    Paradise Junior High won first place at the District One-Act Play competition in Decatur on February 4 for their presentation of "Small Actors" by Stephen Gregg.

    Individual honors went to Lynsey Medlin for Best Actress. Named to the All-Star Cast were Morgan Wilmoth, Kennedy Schneck, and Laramie Dearing. Honorable Mention All-Star Cast members were Pacer Ryle, Chase McKee, and Kara Munn. Alexis Penny received a tech award.

    Meadows Honored at Jack Harvey Luncheon

    Paradise Junior High teacher Dianne Meadows was honored on January 30 at the Jack Harvey Luncheon. She is pictured with Junior High Principal Greg Fletcher.

    The Weatherford College Education Department sponsors The Jack Harvey Fellowship Award program. The Jack Harvey Award recognizes teaching excellence in each of their partner school districts. To date, almost 600 area educators have been named Jack Harvey Fellows.

    Paradise Takes First Place in UIL Contest
