DAUGHTRY

The sensational band known as DAUGHTRY has five members. Chris Daughtry, (who the band is named after) leads on vocals, Josh Paul is the bass, Joey Barnes is on drums, Brian Craddock plays guitar along with Josh Steely. The band as we know it was formed in 2006 after Chris Daughtry's debut to the music world.
Josh Steely was introduced to music at age 10 with the Circle Jerks, Black Flag, and Suicidal Tendencies leading his music revolution. His parents were thrilled (his mom sang & his dad played guitar with Bob Seger and Jimmy Buffet. It was completly acceptable for him to graduate and join a band, which he toured with for several years making records. Steely quit the music workl for several years to focus on his family and was shocked when he was asked to audition for Chris Daughtry's newly forming band.
Joey Barnes has been a musican since the day he was born. Although his inspiration came from the Beatles, he decided that the genre for the "soundtrack of his life" was rock. Joey joined the newly formed band after Daughtry got off American Idol. Barnes knew Chris personally from a battle of the bands involving all the local musicians.
After losing his baseball dream, Brian Craddock began to focus on music practice instead of batting practice. Brian was born in Charlottesville, Virginia where he was influenced by every style and type of music. Craddock met Chris Daughtry at the music stroe he was working at and called him when Brian heard he was looking for a guitarist.
Josh Paul was a star from the very beginning. He grew up hanging out with Don Henley. Paul switched to bass as a teenager and joined a number of bands in the years that followed. When he joined Daughtry in 2006, he knew he had found his musical home.
