Speed limits are ridiculous. I could argue that every speed limit in America can and should be raised by at least 5 m.p.h. and 10 or 15 in most places. I believe that on the highways the speed limit everywhere should be upped by 10 and everyone will be ok. I think that eating and driving and texting and driving should be outlawed. People would get places faster and this nation could be more productive. If you have something to say to someone when you are driving you can call them. Texting flat out restricts the ammount of time you look at the road which isn't safe at all. If texting and driving is banned then there isno legitimate reason the speed limits on the road can't be increased.
