Paradise Javelin Throwing

Paradise has picked up a new sport that is not officially considered a UIL sport yet. Throwing the Javelin has been a sport since the time of the Greeks. We have decided to go ahead and allow junior high and high school kids to pick up 5 foot long spears and chunk them as far as they can. Hopefully our insurance will not go up too much. There have only been 2 near misses so far and we have already been practicing for 5 days. We have our second practice meet coming up on March 27. Hope to see you there.
