Sarah Buell For A Cause

Television these days has seemingly taken over many kids' lives. Not many go outside to play and soak up the sun or just get some exercise. This needs to change! Too many students are getting lazy and are losing the important values that can be learned from working with family members and social skills from finding friends in the neighborhoods close by.

As kids get older too much screen time will begin to affect their ability to discipline themselves to do homework, read, spend time with family, and stay physically active. On top of diminishing their abilities TV characters often depict bad behavior such as, drinking, smoking, doing drugs, and other harmful or violent behaviors that children pick up on and begin to act out themselves believing it is ok.
