Cheerleaders Work Hard at Basketball Games

Although football season ended months ago, the varsity cheerleaders are far from finished. They can be found at all district games doing a great job of cheering on the varsity girls and boys basketball teams.

Tryouts are March 21

Tryouts for the 2012-2013 cheerleader squad will be Wednesday, March 21.

    • Cheerleaders Win Awards at Camp

    STEPHENVILLE-The Varsity Cheer squad attended NCA cheer camp from June 27-30 at Tarleton State University. They received a Safety Spot award, several spirit sticks, and had 10 members nominated for All American Cheerleader/Mascot.

    Rachel Runnels and Bailey Sides were awarded All American Cheerleader following a final tryout Wednesday night. The squad performed well, receiving 4 Superior ribbons and 2 Excellent ribbons.

    Emiley Miller received the Mascot Spirit award and was nominated for All American Mascot and received several Superior ribbons.
