College Nights Planned for the School Year

Paradise High School will be sponsoring a series of college nights during the 2009-2010 school year that are designed to help students and parents prepare for college. These events will occur on the second Tuesday of each month and are free of charge. They are open to any Paradise Junior or Senior students and their parents.

All events begin at 7:00 pm and usually are finished by 8:30. Here is the schedule:

  • September 15: Choosing a college/applying to college/resume building

  • October 13: Essay Writing

    Essay Writing Presentation

    Handout that was given out the same evening

  • November 10: ACT and SAT

    PowerPoint that accompanies the presentation

    Presentation for People who do not have PowerPoint

  • January 12: Financial Aid

    Presentation that accompanies the presentation

  • February 18: College Applications & FAFSA completion (canceled)

  • March 9: SAR reports, Financial Aid/Budgeting

  • April 5: Course Catalogs, Degree Programs, Major & Minors
