PHS Boys Compete at State

ABILENE-Corgan Andrews and Jackson Cunningham competed in the state powerlifting meet on March 27. Corgan finished the meet in third place.

PHS Girls Compete at State

CORPUS CHRISTI-Mae Cunningham and Carolina McDowell competed in the state powerlifting meet on March 20. Both lifters finished in fifth place, capping off a great year. Full results of the meet can be found on the Texas High School Girls Powerlifting website.

PHS Sends Two Boys to State

PONDER-On March 13 Paradise had two lifters advance to the state meet in Abilene on March 27. Corgan Andrews and Jackson Cunningham both advanced, and Clayton Pittman advanced as an alternate. Paradise had two other boys that made it to regionals, Trey Coffman and Tyler Cobb.

PHS Sends Two Girls to State

LEONARD-On Saturday Carolina McDowell and Mae Cunningham advanced to the State Powerlifting meet that will be held in Corpus Christi on March 20. Amber Tolly and Chelsea Holder also competed at this meet, and they helped Paradise finish first in team rankings. PHS Lifters Qualify for Regionals

HOWE-After having to miss a meet due to snow on the roads on February 13, the Paradise Powerlifters were happy to get back in action on February 20 at Howe. The girls finished second in the meet and the boys finished fourth. Carolina McDowell, Mae Cunningham, and Corgan Andrews won their weight classes and several other PHS lifters had good finishes. Here is a list of how our students did at the meet:

PHS Lifters Get Season Underway

NOCONA-Paradise had a large group of lifters compete at the Nocona meet on Saturday. See our photo gallery page for shots of the squats and deadlifts.

Paradise had several athletes finish first in their class or in the top five, and the girls overall finished third and the boys fourth.
